Honolulu is the city. The City and County of Honolulu is on Oahu where Honolulu is and where Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, 25th Inf Div, Hickam Air Force Base, etc., is located.
We have a mayor for Honolulu and a mayor in Maui County, Hawaii County and Kauai County which are all located on three different islands.
If you've never been to Hawaii, you should take a visit. This place on Oahu (especially Honolulu) is just like New York at a lower level. We have tall buildings in Waikiki, downtown, etc. Lots of entertainment and tourist areas to see.
