So, back to the construction project. June 20, 2003. This photo shows the south wall and the door on the left is the one that goes into the tool room. I admit that it's a bit awkward to get into the tatami because you have to walk through the garage, then thru the tack room. But, again, that was the compromise owing to not living in a more temperate area of the world. On the right I framed the west wall with the intent to put in a window - not a good idea, so I ended up filling it in after mounting an air conditioner in part of the window slot.
