This is such a typical view of just about any street. The tiny cars, young people strolling and, at this particular time of the year the political posters which grew like weeds all over the island around election time. Little tiny micro-vans with huge speakers mounted on the roofs would crawl through the villages with the candidates blaring their rhetoric. I don't speak Japanese fluently but I don't recall ever once hearing one of them denying having had an "inappropriate relationship with...." Oh, well.... *smirk* |
