George Murasaki Band (private concert)

at 7th Heaven in Koza, Okinawa.

I was fortunate to be spending my month in 2015 during the time that Masami Jenkins and her Dragons were on island for their 50th Kubasaki High School Dragons reunion. Masami lives in San Diego and she's the one who organized the reunion. I sorta helped some by creating a Web-presence for the Reunion information, registration forms, etc. Since I was on island at the same time I was made an honorary Dragon and as such was invited to attend any of their activities and events, tours, dinner, etc. in the capacity of being the quasi-official photographer/videographer.

Well, on this occasion, the 20th of October, it happened that George Murasaki was putting on a private concert for the Dragons as he too had attended Kubasaki High a few decades earlier. I brought along my younger son, Zac, and was also accompanied by our friend, Michael Martin who lives out in Furugen on the Yomitan Peninsula. We had a good time.
