I'm betting that you took these pictures during your last weekend on Okie and had the Old Man's jeep for wheels. I got to use his jeep on my last weekend in early '53 and explored the same area. Found bones, Japanese helmets and gear, and even a hand grenade that we left alone in caves on the shore.
