Photo: Louis Amari That gable roofed building in the background is the Day Room, and behind Lou's Butt is the place to fix one's private cars. Ron Hyatt (18 Nov 07) Just about where Lou is standing is where I put up the first repair shop for our private cars. It was made from two big bridge timbers and old quonset hut ribs that I found near the small bridge to the left of the Day Room. Captain Galloway let me use a squad tent from the supply room to cover it. It worked pretty good till a typhoon ripped the tent to shreds. After that was when the one here was built.
