On the frontage road of Kina, Yomitan, alongside Highway 58 and across from the Kina Banjo is a little restaurant called Shirosaki. Zac and I stopped in for lunch one day before heading over to Koza.

One of the girls who works there saw us outside and came out to invite us in. She was very friendly and persuasive. And a bowl of soba soup just felt so right at the time!

Zac and I sat ourselves down and spoke with one of the guys at the counter. He spoke English quite well, introduced himself and told us about his purpose for being on the island.
