A lazy chill afternoon bummin' 'round at the beach. This is on the Katsuren Peninsula. On my way to the beach I found that the main road going down to the shore was blocked off for maintenance or something. The detour surprised me... brought me right into Waitui! And I wasn't even looking for it that day. If you've followed my Okinawa trips, you might recall the time that Mike Lynch and I spent the majority of an afternoon and early evening looking for Waitui. We found it during a subsequent trip two years later. Now, today it gets dropped in my lap. Crazy stuff.
